Daisaku Ikeda Photo Exhibition Opens in Moscow, Russia
Visitors at "My Universe (Moya Vselennaya)" photo exhibition in Moscow
On November 8, 2006, "My Universe (Moya Vselennaya)," an exhibition of some 180 nature and scenic photographs taken by SGI President Daisaku Ikeda, opened at the Central House of Artists in Moscow, Russia. The exhibition, scheduled for November 8-21, commemorates the 50th anniversary of the normalization of Russo-Japan diplomatic relations. Aleksander Sokolov, Russian Minister of Culture and Mass Communication, Dr. Victor Sadovnichy, rector of Moscow State University, and Japanese Ambassador to Moscow Yasuo Saito, were among the guests at the November 8 opening. SGI President Ikeda sent a message in which he shared his unchanging resolve for peace as he reminisced on his 32-year exchange with Russia.
Exhibitions of Mr. Ikeda's photos, titled "Dialogue with Nature," also showed in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China, and in Natal City, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, during November 2006).
